We've got you covered!
Raised in a family of artists, my early years were dedicated to music. Graduating with a music education degree with a vocal emphasis, I had begun my career in the arts teaching music to grade school children.
In 2003, my focus shifted to raising my 4 children as a stay-at-home mom. Art became finger paints, homemade costumes, dioramas, & leading crafts at Vacation Bible School.
In 2011, I discovered my passion for face painting while preparing for my daughter's birthday party. Since then, I've devoted my time to improving my talents & techniques. After 6 very successful years in the Midwest, I'm now bringing Meg's Mugs to the Southwest.
While in the Midwest, I painted for schools, libraries, churches, corporate events, private parties, and personal appointments. In addition to one time events, annual (regional Children's Hospital fundraiser) and seasonal (a large apple orchard) partnerships were also developed.
Since moving to the Tucson area in 2017, I have painted for private events as well as local establishments such as the International Wildlife Museum, the Desert Museum, & Old Tucson Studios. During the fall, you may have even seen me at Old Tucson's "Nightfall"!
All of my paints are professional grade, hypoallergenic, water based makeup - safe for the most sensitive skins. I am happy to provide my many popular faces or, if preferred, customize themed designs for your event.
I am fully insured and can provide documentation if needed. From Oro Valley, I serve the greater Tucson area. More information on pricing, travel, and appointments can be found on my FAQ page.
Events are generally booked by the hour, so contact me to discuss your upcoming event. Let my love of painting color your world!
